10 Best TV Shows to Binge Watch

Binge watching is all the rage right now, thanks to Netflix, Hulu and Amazon, so I thought I would come up with my own list of shows that I’ve been addicted to. Here is my list of the Top 10 TV shows to Binge watch. They are all must see shows. If you haven’t binge watched a television show, try one of these…

1. Dexter
Dexter was so hyped a few years back, and then the show just sort of died off in popularity. Many people said they didn’t like where the show went with the characters, but if you dig a little deeper you’ll find many people stopped watching this show before the finale. It’s a shame really. I think they got sick of waiting for the next episode or the next season, and just stopped watching. Watch all 8 seasons right now on Netflix, and I think you’ll find it is one of the best television shows ever made. It’s a little funny, a little serious, and incredibly addictive.

2. Lost
With how popular this show is, I can’t believe how many people haven’t seen it. Try it. Try 3 episodes and see if you can stop. It is on Netflix (all the seasons). Watch 3 episodes and see if you can walk away. Lost’s ending was booed by many, but non-stop watching from beginning to end is way to entertaining to pass up.

3. House of Cards
There are currently only 2 seasons of House of Cards, but every episode is must see. It’s a dark take on politics, but the amazing acting and drama makes it so you can’t turn away.

4. Breaking Bad
If you haven’t seen Walter White, science teacher turned meth king, yet stop reading this article, go to your television, cue up Netflix and start watching.

5. Justified
I think Timothy Olyphant kills at least one bad guy per episode for the entire first season. There are 4 seasons on Amazon Prime, watch all of them, go right now if you haven’t seen them, and watch them.

6. Orange is the New Black
This is one of those shows you really don’t want to watch, you really don’t want to like, but it pulls you in after the first few episode, and it’s almost impossible to stop watching.

7. Arrested Development
It’s an oldie but a goodie. You can watch the original cult classic’s full run on Netflix, and then catch the newest season (produced by Netflix). The quirky characters have caught up with the times, and the series isn’t dated in the least.

8. West Wing
I have watched this series 2 or 3 times. If you haven’t seen it, watch it, period.

9. Grimm
Yes, Grimm is one of those shows everyone thought would be canceled in the first seasons, and then good writing got it picked up again and again. You can watch all of the first 2 seasons on Amazon Prime, catch up, and then watch all the new episodes on Hulu Plus. It’s a very entertaining show.

10. Sherlock
This BBC television show has 2 mega-movie stars playing Holmes and Watson. The modern day Sherlock is quirky, fun, funny, and serious all at the same time. Watch the first episode on Netflix and see if you can turn away. I didn’t think I would like it, but I watched all 3 seasons over a weekend….

Those are the top 10 Shows to Binge watch, but I had to at least add these. The following shows didn’t make the top 10, but are still great to watch:
Sons of Anarchy
Fringe
Mad Men
Downton Abbey
X-Files
Walking Dead

  1. I can’t say I’m a big fan of these current Liam Neeson action films. They’re becoming a little bit samey. Non-Stop is set on an airplane, is a mix up of Hitchcock and Agatha Christie (see Ten Little Indians), has text messages pop up on screen and has the lead man as a washed up alcoholic ‘washed up’ ex-Cop. Sounds
